Business Rewards Online Terms and Conditions
Definitions
Company
means an entity that elects to conduct a Rewards Program and sponsors Individuals
or Groups into the Rewards Online program.
Branch means a sub-division of a Company that is conducting a Rewards Program.
Group means a team of people who have banded together fir the purposes
of accruing and redeeming Reward Points.
Individual means a person who is participating in a
Rewards Program in his or her own right for the purposes of accruing and redeeming
Reward Points.
Rewards Program means a program established to enable Individuals
or Groups to accrue Reward Points for achieving predetermined targets and to redeem
these points for physical rewards or vouchers.
Reward means an item listed in the Rewards Online catalogue that can be
obtained through redemption of Reward Points.
Campaign means a specific Rewards Program that has a designated Expiry Date.
Expiry Date means the date determing for a particular
Rewards Program to end. After that date, Reward Points can no longer be accrued
or redeemed.
Login ID means the unique number or word that is issued to all parties associated
with a Rewards Program.
Password
means the secret word that is established by each Company, Branch, Group or Individual
and which is required for each access to the Rewards Online system.
Rewards Catalogue means the range of reward items selected
for a particular Rewards Program and featured on the website.
Rewards Provider means a supplier of a Reward item listed
in the Rewards Catalogue.
Eligibility
1. Any Company
or entity is entitled to conduct a Rewards Online Rewards Program following payment
of specified management fees and the signing of an agreement form.
2. When a
Company joins Rewards Online, it determines which Individuals or Groups are eligible
to participate in its program and provides details to Rewards Online Administration.
3. Eligible
Individuals or Groups can then join Rewards Online through the Company""s designated
Rewards Online web site.
4. Individuals
or Groups must provide all information requested on the web site on joining and
notify Rewards Online immediately of any change to that information. Updates to
Individuals or Groups information can be made through the Individuals or Groups
sections of the web page.
5. The Company
can remove individuals or Groups from the program at any time, without notice.
6. By entering
their details and joining a Rewards Online program, a Company, Branch, Individual
or Group agrees to be bound by the Rewards Online Conditions of Use.
Security
7. Login IDs
and Passwords will be issued for all levels of access to a Rewards Online program,
viz, Company, Branch, Group and Individual.
8. Each time
a person attempts to gain access to his or her area of the Rewards Online web site,
they will be asked to key in their Login ID and Password. If the Login ID or Password
is not correct, then access will be denied.
9. Rewards
Online is entitled to act on instructions from an Individual or Group, or someone
purporting to be that Individual or Group, if the Login ID and Password are correct.
10. Login
IDs and Passwords should not be divulged to anyone, composed from information that
could be guessed by anyone, or recorded anywhere in a format that can be deciphered.
Rewards Online will not be held responsible for transactions that have taken place
without the authority of the Individual or Group, where the correct Login ID and
Password have been used.
11. If an
Individual or Group suspects that a third party has become aware of their Login
ID and Password, they should change their password immediately. Changes to Passwords
can be made through the relevant area of the Group or Individual sections of the
web site.
Accrual of Points
12. Reward
Points will be awarded in accordance with criteria determined by the Company sponsoring
the Reward Program. It is the responsibility of the Company to publicise this information.
13. Reward
Points will normally be added to Individual or Group accounts on a periodic basis.
The sponsoring company will decide the frequency of input.
14. Reward
Points will be input to Individual or Group accounts within two working days of
notification by the Company to Rewards Online and will be available for use on the
following working day. Individuals or Groups should ascertain from the sponsoring
company how frequently and when points are forwarded for input.
15. Reward
Points may not be redeemed until they have been added to a specific account and
confirmed by the Company.
16. Accrued
Reward Points do not constitute the property of an Individual or Group. Reward Points
cannot be transferred to any other person or entity.
17. Points
awarded in connection with another loyalty program cannot be transferred to Rewards
Online and vice versa.
18. Reward
Points that remain unused after the Expiry Date of a Campaign will be deducted from
the points balance appearing on an Individual or Group account.
19. It is
the responsibility of the Individual or Group to regularly check to ensure that
Rewards Points have been correctly credited or deducted from their account.
Redemption of Rewards
20. Rewards
Points can be redeemed by Individuals or Groups for a wide range of Reward items
as listed in the Catalogue section of their Company""s Rewards Online web site at
the time of redemption.
21. At the
time of redemption, Individuals or Groups must have sufficient Reward Points in
their account to cover the listed Reward Point value of the item they wish to redeem.
22. Reward
Point value of Catalogue items may change without notice.
23. Redeemed
Reward Points will be deducted from the nominated account at the time of request
for redemption.
24. When Rewards
Online has processed a request for points to be redeemed, the request cannot be
amended or withdrawn or exchanged for another Reward unless Rewards Online agrees.
25. Rewards
Online is not responsible or liable for any reduction or redemption of Reward Points
where the reduction or redemption is not authorised.
26. All Reward
items are subject to availability and changes imposed by Rewards Online or a Rewards
Provider, even though such changes may affect points already earned or the points
needed to claim a Reward item.
27. Rewards
Online is not liable if a Group or Individual is not notified of a new, changed
or discontinued Reward item.
28. The time
taken to deliver a Reward will vary. Rewards Online shall not be liable for any
delay in delivery of a Reward item.
29. Where
a Reward takes the form of a voucher, it must be used before the expiry date. Rewards
Online is not responsible for lost or stolen vouchers.
30. Where
a Reward takes the form of travel, Government taxes are not included and will have
to be paid for by the recipient.
General
31. Rewards
Online is not responsible for Rewards received under a Rewards Program, any death
or injury, loss or consequential loss or damage from a Reward or the loss, theft
or destruction of a Reward or a Reward voucher.
32. Any dispute
concerning goods or services received as a Reward item shall be settled between
the Individual or Group concerned and the Rewards Provider who supplied the goods
or services. Rewards Online will bear no responsibility for resolving such disputes
or for the dispute itself.
33. Companies,
Branches, Groups and Individuals are responsible for any taxation liability (including
GST) or other government charges or reporting requirements arising from membership
of a Rewards Online program or redemption of points for rewards. Rewards Online
does not offer any advice or accept any responsibility with respect to these matters.
34. Rewards
Online reserves the right to change these Conditions of Use at any time.
35. Failure
to enforce a particular Condition of Use does not constitute a waiver of that term
or condition by Rewards Online.
36. Rewards
Online may exercise any right, power or remedy in this document at its discretion
and separately or concurrently with any other right, power or remedy.
